Clinical Psychotherapy & Counselling Practice for Adult Parents - Sliding Scale Fee for Parents with Limited Funding Options and/or Requiring Financial Supports Janice specializes in working towards mental health, well-being and healing for parents coping with trauma or traumatic experience(s). Services Provided for Sliding Scale Fee: Individual Adult Therapy Supporting individual parents or single parents coping with: Children (age 5-29) with a mental health challenge or diagnosis Grief, Loss and Bereavement including suicide loss of a family member, friend or colleague Impacts of trauma on parental mental health, including depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges. Janice uses an integrative approach grounded in Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP) and employs a variety of psychotherapeutic theories and modalities such as: Anti-Oppressive Practice Client Centred Practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Ecological Theory (Person-inEnvironment) Family Systems Therapy Motivational Interviewing Narrative Therapy Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy Strengths-Based Practice Trauma Informed Care All counselling services are provided on-line with zoom medical, providing session privacy with optimal scheduling and time flexibility. Sliding Scale Fees Range from $90 - $120 per session.
